Hello,
On Aug 20th I had sex with an escort. Female escort performed unprotected oral sex, unprotected rimming, and protected sex w/ condom. 2-4 days felt tingling sensation what seem to be inside urethra as well as constant urge to urinate. Now this tingling sensation has gone away and is a constant mild burning sensation w/ frequent urge to urinate also noticed some white fluid inside urethra. At this point it, it was around 17 days since encounter so with these symptoms I decided to go to a nearby testing facility on Sept 6th.
Testing facility did a blood finger prick test for HIV, took a urine sample, and blood sample for syphilis. HIV test came back in a few minutes and it was negative, urine sample came back negative for Chlamydia / Gonnorhea, and negative for syphilis. The testing facility also gave me Azithromycin (2x 500mg) because they assumed symptoms were Chlamydia symptoms.
On Sept 9th, I experienced a stronger burning sensation, and frequent urge to urinate, so couldn't sleep well due to anxiety as my tests of what I assumed it was came back negative. Today on Sept 10th, burning sensation became mild again and the urge to frequently urinate has become a little less.
I've had chlamydia in the past and was cured before (roughly 1.5 years ago). I'm uncircumsized and noticed that when I have irritation or symptoms like these skin that attaches below my pee hole becomes swollen. The swelling did some what go down. With the sex worker, I took sex enhancement pills (black panther) and didn't ejaculate. Haven't had sex with current girlfriend over a month due to fear of passing on anything to her.
Symptoms: Mild burning sensation, no burning sensation when urinating though, frequent urge to urinate, much more drips than usual at end of urinating, anxiety/a bit of insomnia due to fear, stress, cannot focus, swelling of skin that attaches to pee hole (uncircumcised).
1. Were the tests performed too early for detection at 17 days? If so, when is the earliest I can retest for conclusive results (for my mental well-being)?
2. What other test should be performed knowing my symptoms?
3. Should I see a urologist?
4. I'm not asking for a diagnosis over the internet, but what could be causing my symptoms? I want to go into a urologist somewhat informed so we don't waste time or money.
5. If symptoms continue to subside and eventually go away am I in the clear?
6. Due to becoming more health aware I've noticed a Hemorrhoid could this be the cause of possible prostatitis? Sounds like symptoms of it.
I just find it hard to believe this is all going on after encounter with sex worker. I'm 27 year old male and made a huge mistake in my life thinking I could relieve some stress in my life and honestly wanted to feel another woman as I've been in a monogamous relationship for 3 years. Please help me get through this.
Thank you for your help.
