Confused please help

Received unprotected oral sex from a transgender on 10/12/23. Got no symptoms whatsoever, googled up everything nd then proceeded to have unprotected sex with my girlfriend ( virgin at the time on 31/12/23). She complained of painful urination the next day itself nd an urge to pee, also had cloudy urine, me still no symptoms. On 2/2/24, developed a few symptoms (an urge to pee and a bit of pelvic pain and a cloudy urine once, just a few drops, did not get any kind of an unusual discharge and my urination is not painful ).
The chances of men developing symptoms of gonorrhoea is 9/10 men, however for chlamydia it is half of the men, what could it be ? And any medicines for the both of us? Had taken 1g azithromycin on the 1st day of cloudy urine, no cloudy urine from that day, however the frequent urge to pee and a bit of pelvic pain is still there.

The only way you'll know if it's anything is to test, but the chances that this is anything is low.

Do NOT self treat. Just test.

Your gf could have had irritation from having sex the first time, and you've really had minimal symptoms.

You'll need to wait for 2 weeks after taking the antibiotic for reliable results, so don't take anything else.

You could also just be dehydrated, so increase your water intake. No need to panic.

Thank you so much for your answer, currently haven’t gotten tested for gonorrhoea or chlamydia, but got my urinalysis-it had 1-2 WBCs/Pus cells (the report says within the normal range). Do they mean anything regarding gonorrhoea or chlamydia? Also my urine culture was sterile. Is it indicative of something?
It's a good sign that you don't have an infection, but it doesn't guarantee that you don't.

If you want to know for sure, you need to actually test for those infections.

A sterile urine culture means that the cup you peed in was sealed when you got it. That's all. It just wasn't exposed to outside contaminants.

Also, I noticed that you are posting all over the place in a panic. If you are so anxious, just go test. Put this behind you with some solid answers.

I’m really sorry for posting all over, the thing is the doctor i met asked me to wait for the results of azithromycin as i had no cloudy urine or discharge, i still have the pelvic pain and urgency to pee. The labs say they need a discharge sample for the tests, nd I’m checking it every morning nd every time I pee, there are no signs of any discharge, also i read on this forum itself Dr HHH says that gonorrhoea can clear up after a few weeks and it has obvious nd quick symptoms in men , I’m finding it all very weird, sorry again for posting all over and thank you so so much for your valuable advice .
In the vast majority of men, symptoms will be present, but not everyone.

You should see a marked improvement from the azithromycin if it was chlamydia within a few days.

How are you with water intake? Increase your water intake and see if that helps. Decrease any caffeine and alcohol intake, too.

In the meantime, all you can do is wait. Remember that your chances of an STI are very, very low from oral sex.
2 last questions, as there is no discharge or cloudy urine my doctor says it’s likely the thing is healed, just wait.
The 2nd thing is gonorrhoea flushed out after a few weeks? (I believe it as Dr HHH had written it, PS- I’m not trying to avoid any treatment here)
Please remember the most important thing here - the chances of an STI are very low.

Your gf's symptoms were likely due to new sexual activity and happened too soon to be an STI.

Your symptoms were a full 2 months after your sexual activity that you are concerned about.

These all indicate that it's NOT an STI.

Gonorrhea can cure itself in a few weeks, but I always hesitate to rely on that. It can also cause complications if left untreated.

You have no indications that you had or have an STI. You might be dehydrated. I'm not sure why they gave you azithromycin as there is no indication of an infection - you have 1-2 WBC, no discharge, no blood, no cloudy urine.

I see no reason to think you have an STI. You are worried for no reason.
Auntiejessi , may god bless you for helping me out here, you’re doing such a noble thing of helping us anxious folks here with nothing in return , I wish you all the happiness in the world . Thank you
