i have got proctitis

about 15 days back i had anal sex with my male partener who was having penile dischage & dysuria  but instead of knowing all these things i went for the sex(even his wife is having vaginal dischage along with pelvic pain for last some months).
after some days i  developed proctitis,severe rectal pain,itching and along with mucopusy stools i am taking ciprofloxcin for more then 5 days but i havnt got relief .
kindly help me i am very worried about this all.

Proctitis isn't always caused by gonorrhea.  There are other causes.  Make sure to follow up with your doctor.

I'm surprised they didn't do any std testing.

Well, the medication should take care of your problem. I'd say if your still having a few problems go get tested for Gonorrhea via a rectal swab. Proctitis in sexually active people means that they caught Gonorrhea of the rectum. Dont freak out, you have already gotten proper treatment, but be sure to go back and get restested, and DO NOT have unprotected Anal, vaginal or oral sex.
