Sore behind Pubic Line

Have been experiencing a lot of pains lower abdomen and near the pubic area. Not sure if my lymph nodes are swollen or sore also but got pain in that general area also. I woke up one morning last week and has been sore ever since.   I was last checked for an STI in 2016 and only ever had 1 sexual partner since before meeting my Girlfriend who is clean as she had been checked. Is it possible it could be an STI despie never experiencing any symptoms last 3 years or do you think it may be something else.  Or has anyone ever experienced this and could give me insight.

Thanks,

John
