Grace when you said 'you can have HPV under your fingernails and transmit it to genitals" did you mean a genital HPV type under your fingernails? I.e. someone who had genital warts, touched or scratched them, and then manually stimulated a partner's genitals? Or any sort of HPV? It's hard to find solid information online about the possibility of passing HAND or finger warts (flat warts in my case) to a partner's genitals...
going to get checked out sounds like the best course of action at this point.
Hi
Thank you for your help. I have been using a non scented soap and the skin seems to be less irritated. I'm due to start my second course of treatment on Warticon tomorrow, but not sure if I should has no warts appear to be showing, the are is a little rough, but I think that is due to scar skin not the wart itself, or I may use it just once a day for the next 3 days not 2 treatments each day. Do you think this is wise? I'm due to go to the clinic next week just to get checked out to make sure they are gone and i'm not treating scarred skin and making things worse!
how about I meant to type are not the same type that cause warts on the hands, not fingers on the hands....lol. glad you understood what I meant....he he he
don't put TTO on already irritated skin. it's a known irritant and probably would just add to your discomfort. you'd want to use a mild soap on the genital area like plain white dove and if need be, in between treatments use a barrier cream like a&d, desitin etc to help protect the irritated skin and soothe it.
Thank you soo much. i've read and re-read posts on here, and knew it was all ok. I am now currently undergoing Warticon treatment, so there won't be anything happening for a while as it's made me really raw. Would tea tree make it worse? not the oil but a body wash? would using non scented soap be better to use?
you can have hpv under the finger nails and transmit it to the genital area but the odds of your bf fingering you and then ending up with genital warts himself are incredibly low. The types of hpv that cause external genital warts on us, typically are not the same types that cause fingers on the hands ( and vice versa ). Really no reason to worry about this. encourage your bf to wash his hands properly after manually stimulating you that's all.
