Did a dildo just give me Gonorrhea?

So a few weeks ago I used my toy to masturbate, vaginally inserted. Afterwards, my roommate informed me she had used my toy that same day. I have now tested positive for gonorrhea, and so had my bf. He claims he has been faithful... I guess my question is did i get gonorrhea from a dildo? Or is he the culprit?

As to who is responsible, that could have been there for awhile as most women in particular don't get any symptoms, so unless this the only sex partner you've ever had you could have had it for quite a while and so if you have had sex with others you can't actually blame your BF necessarily.

I for sure would rule out the toy as to get gono its needs to be exposed in a protected inviorment like a penis inside a vagina and if the gono germs were on the toy they would not survive long.
