Sti/STD? What do u think

I've been having discharge for years and recently got it checked out. The doctor just took a peak and said that it was thin, white, and nothing was inflamed. I did have an oral a few years ago... is it possible this is linked to it? Or... since it's been a few years, the symptoms would have gotten a lot worse and I would of known?
