You may be naseous from all the medication. If you only had chlamydia, you didn't need all that medication unless you had other things going on as well. Also, it is possible you retested too early. Try again in another 2-3 weeks. Give your body time to recover from all the antibiotics and ask for a treatment for yeast infections. I wonder why your doctor thought it necessary to give you all that medication for chlamydia?
Thanks for your reply. It has been another 2-3 weeks so I will get tested again. When I had the yeast infection I did get treatment as it was quite bad. Usually the over the counter meds work but in this case they didn't so I got a prescription from my doctor. So while I was taking the antibiotics I was using stuff for thrush in addition to taking inter flora or probitotics.
The doctor certainly didn't say I had other things going on as well. As I said I tested specifically for all STD's and only chlamydia came back positive.
I would've thought the nausea would've subsided by now as it has been a while.
Okay, so maybe I retested too early. Will make an appointment today.
I also feel vaguely itchy. Although this may just be in my head.
Thank you again.
I got my test back and it came back negative. So I'm thinking that I did in fact retest too early.
One last question. Do I need to go back in say a month or two to make sure that all is ok?
Thanks.
nope, your infection is clear
Thank you.
Sorry for bugging you again. But I was thinking last night about sex toys. If I used my vibrator during the time I had chlamydia, do I need to get rid of it or is it safe to keep.
Anything on the vibrator would be dead now. But for good measure clean it like you should do after every use.
