Genital Warts Risk Assessment

Thirty-six days ago, I received unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal intercourse from a woman. Afterwards, I washed promptly and applied shower gel to my penis for cleaning twice. Currently, I have balanoposthitis. Am I at high risk of contracting genital warts? What can I do to prevent the appearance of warts in the absence of any lesions?

In some places, the HPV vaccine is available up to 45 years. Check with your doctor. It won't prevent an infection that you already have, but will prevent new ones.

You can get HPV from oral, but you probably won't see symptoms from it. There's no way of knowing if you'd get it from oral or from sex, so I wouldn't worry.

While oral sex is not 'no risk' in terms of std risk, it's low risk. In the absence of any symptoms, it's not recommend to test. You have nothing to test or show. So, no. I would not worry about HPV. You can get the vaccine if you are under the age of 26 or younger.
