You can not get chlamydia of the throat and if you get gonorrhea of the throat it is not going to show symptoms anywhere but the throat if symptoms show at all.
I understood your question, I don't have the answer about the tooth brush and pen caps. This is the first time I have seen someone diagnosed with it. So I was wondering how you got it, well I knew it was oral sex, but was it a male or female. You don't have to answer if you don't want to.
How did you know to get tested for it?
I think you're misunderstanding my question. I didn't contract gonorrhea by way of a toothbrush. I got it via unprotected oral sex. I was diagnosed via oral swab test. If I'm currently on antibiotics for gonorrhea of the throat, what should I do about my electric toothbrush? Is it still okay to use? Or will I be re-infected if I continue to use it? If I need to get a new toothbrush, when should I get it? Should I wait until my antibiotic treatment is over or make the purchase in the midst of treatment?
I am really unsure of the answer. I assume you can not transmit anything like that but this is the first time I have heard of someone getting it.
Would you tell me how you got it? And you did a swab test to confirm it?
