HIV Transmission

Hi Docs. I am a male that had an encounter with another male about 3 days ago. I met this guy at a local park and we engaged in mutual masturbation. He was said that he was "clean" meaning disease free. When the guy stroked me i precumed. With my precum in his hands he stroked himself and then stroked me at rubbed the opening of his urethra. While i was stroking him, i did not feel any precum but not I don't know if he had any precum. When i got home i noticed that my penis was kind of red from masturbating. I don't know if its an abrasion or not but when i washed  the reddened area on the head of my penis with soap and water and dabbed it with alcohol, my penis did not sting. If I did have an abrasion what would be the likelyhood i could get something like HIV or other STD. I am very worried and scared Thanks.

Is it still very unlikely even with an abrasion on the head of my penis with the possibility of the other guy's precum on that abrasion? Thanks again

Its all still terribly unlikely.  I see no reason to test here, but if you feel the need to, get std tested a week from the encounter, and then get an HIV test at 3 months (you should get one now as a baseline), and a syphilis test at 6 weeks.

Thanks for you help.. i really appreciate it.. i am a bit at ease. with what my case should i go get an std and HIV test? Also another question this may seem pushy again.. but when you say there were no documented case. is the possibility of getting HIV or std with the possibility of having an abrasion on the head of the penis (being the worse case scenario) still possible or very very unlikely.. thanks again

You aren't pushy, and you are asking questions that we get all the time - I understand the concern.

There has never been a documented case of std transmission - including HIV - from a handjob, even with the inevitable transfer of bodily fluids.

Thanks for the reply.. I really appreciate it. So even with an abrasion the likelyhood of getting HIV is slim to none? Also what if he stroked his penis and with possible precum and using that to stroke my penis (with possible abrasion) and the hole of my urethra. Is it still a slim chance. Sorry to be so pushy on this.. but i'm really worried thats why. Thanks once again =)

There is no risk here.  No one ever got an std from a hand job or mutual masturbation.
