Have I got an STD? I am showing symptoms of HIV...I think

Hey everyone. So here's a quick story of what happened. I met a random girl in a club 5 days ago and we went back to her place to have sex.  In our drunken state we stupidly didn't bother with a condom. The thing is I was drinking a hell of a lot that night and as a result I couldn't get a proper erection, but I did have my penis in her for less than 10 seconds. After that we kissed quite a lot but that was it.

However, now I am slightly concerned. It's been 5 days now and I've had a pretty bad cold the last couple of days, headache, muscle and joint pain, temperature and even worse I had a bit of diarrhea. Though that being said I have been hanging around two friends quite a lot recently who both have had bad colds and fever the last week too.

I don't know, I'm probably worrying over nothing but I heard symptoms of HIV include all the symptoms I mentioned earlier. I'm just wondering, I had my penis in her for less than 10 seconds and obviously I didn't ejaculate, so based on this info what would you say my chances are that I caught something bad?

A brief exposure like this would not mean immediate std or hiv transmission. However, since you have no recollection about this event, it should be wise that you get checked out, not only for HIV but other stds as well, just to be safe. Here is something you should know: symptoms are not definite or should they be relied on. When comparing symptoms to HIV, they are vague and they can be related to a lot of other reasons. A cold developing after five days could be coincidentally something else and since you said others were getting sick, it could be garden variety related. Ejaculation or not, it does not mean anything. I cannot tell you chances because everyone's immune systems works differently.

Hi Aelly, thanks for your reply. I'll get a test done soon, probably at the 90 day mark since I hear that's the proper time to get checked. One thing though, I remember pretty much everything about that night. I didn't get so drunk that I lost my memory, but I was drunk enough not to be able to get an erection.
