How is syphilis trasmitted

Hi can you please clarify how exactly is syphilis transmitted? I know is “skin to skin” contact but Im a little bit lost about what skin. In some forums here you mention that when I read skin to skin it actually means inside of penis, mouth, vagina, etc, as other parts like legs, arms, face would haver thick skin and is no risk?

Condoms do not protect fron syphilis but they do reduce the risk. What I dont understand is, if syphilis bacteria can’t get through the scrotum (as I’ve read in some answers in the community), what place is in danger through vaginal sex with condom? (As a male) what skin part that is not cover by the condom is where the bacteria can get in. Just trying to understand the real risk.

An additional question: can you get any STD through a lap dance or for touching a strippers vagina?

Condoms offer significant protection for men with syphilis (and HPV and herpes). Mostly, the concern is if the condom slips, or if you have shaved and have broken skin, etc.

Lap dances are no risk if you are not having direct, unclothed skin to skin contact as already described - oral to oral, oral to genital, genital to genital, or genital to anal. Touching someone's vagina - sex worker or not - is not a risk.

You are obsessing. You have negative tests. It's time for therapy. Talk to your doctor about this.
