Red Spot on tip of Penis

I recently had sinusitis and the doctor put me on Z-Pac. The Z-Pac didn't work and he put me on Augmentin. I finished all my antibiotics 6 days ago. Yesterday I noticed that I had a little white dried skin at the tip of my penis and the area was red. Additionally I have a small red dot that is white in the middle around the same area. I don't feel any difference down there and the only reason I noticed was because I was washing myself in the shower. I am a virgin and I have never had any type of sexual relations with anyone. I was wondering what this could be?

I don't know about the baby oil, because that's not keeping the skin dry.  But balanitis is a fungal infection.

Did he suggest using an anti-fungal cream you can get at the store?

My urine sample came back negative for bacteria and the doctor just told me the skin is just irritated. He said it is balanitis and he said to keep it dry and put baby oil on it. Do you think that it will get better if I do those things?

It could be a fungal infection caused by all the antibiotics you took.  You should call your doctor and see what he thinks.  He might want to see you, or he might suggest an over the counter cream for it.

There's no big cause for worry here, though.
