I cheated; am I in trouble?

So my dumb *** made some tragic errors in life - and ended up sleeping with say a dozen prostitutes, unprotected oral and covered intercourse with one exception - uncovered intercourse and oral.  Not really proud at all and am just trying to get my life straight.  I have no symptoms at all but am still scared to get a blood test. I just completed an antibiotic for an unrelated virus.

I think I am just looking for reasurrance that "everything is gonna be ok"?

SO lets assume the HIV thing is a wash and i dodge that bullet. Does one case of unprotected intercourse and a dozen oral eperiences over 3 years neccessarily make me highly susceptible to any other STD's

Damn - that's piling on gents.... I was kinda hoping for the best, since I have no symptoms at all and hadn't even considered HIV from one interaction.

How long was it since you had the unprtoected intercourse?

Ok - sucked it up and had blood and urine tested today.. fingers crossed. I have no symptoms nor does my wife so hopefully things will work out ok

It is tough to say how high the risk actually is. I will say that prostitues normally test often because as Dr.HHH once said...STD's are bad for business.

But you have to test. Most STD's are easily cured.

that's what I figured - was hoping to see the comforting "your chances of infection are minimal" type of message.

really having trouble getting to the doctor as I am terrified

Only way to know is to test, on one here can tell you anything more then that.
