IGNORANCE IS NEVER BLISS

I met a man and followed him into a public bath (sauna). I followed my excitement and we rented a room. He started massaging my *** and around my anus but did not actually do any anal fingering. I was about to continue as we were kissing but asked him his status at which point he told me he was positive and the fun stopped. He did not appear to have blood on his hands (obviously) but did not really check, he also maybe had some precum but did not actually penetrate my anus with his fingers.

Following that, I went to the showers and took the wrong towel. I did not dry my anus with it  as I quickly realized that this was not my towel.

As I am writing this question, i do feel stupid because i know i was not at risk for STDs (maybe herpes from the towel ?? (doubt it ). What about HIV from this event, does this warrant any testing or anxiety ?

I dont think you should worry because the HIV virus does not survive long when it is exposed to air. it would literally have to enter its way into the blood stream.
