Infections

Due to unprotected insertive oral sex and protected insertive vaginal sex, I caught Gonorrhea from someone 159 days ago on 3/31/2009.

I was tested for positive for Gonorrhea and negative for Chlamydia at 3 or 4 days. I was treated for Gonorrhea.

I tested negative for Syphilis at 9 days. I tested a urine sample and showed no signs of Gonorrhea or Chlamydia at that time.

I developed fungal infections where my legs meet my groin around 1 month after.

These infections appeared on the palms of my hands around a month after that. They appear to be flat blisters at the surface of my skin that commonly appear after showering.

I treated these fungal infections with all creams and sprays I've been able to find with minimal affect.

I tested for negative for HIV at 3 months 2 weeks.

I took an oral anti-fungal medication around this time. My fungal infections went away, but seem to be coming back on my hands.

I've been experiencing tenderness in my abdomen over the last month, especially after situps, crunches, etc.

Were my tests conclusive?

Any suggestions on what else to test for?

Your syphilis testing was done too early but nothing you mention sounds like syphilis either.

blisters that just appear on the hands with showering are not a std.

Stains in your underwear in the morning aren't really something to worry about.  You don't mention any symptoms of an active std infection at this point.

We can never, ever replace the advice of a medical professional who can properly examine you and test you. If you have continued concerns, see a doctor for further work up. there really isn't anything else that we can do to help at this point.

I don't currently have access to a doctor.

The reason I am asking all of these questions is so i can narrow down the type of things to test for during the short window that i will be able to see a doctor.

Well you hiv was conclusive...thats for sure...but there are just sooo many stds out there...but i think that what you're experiencing now has nothing to do with an std...i think its more like a fungal infection that you've got somewhere else.  Why don't you go to the doctor?

I am wondering. Should I be concerned to see small white stains in my underwear - ONLY after I wake up in the morning?

I have checked throughout the day and I see no indications on stains, but often when I wake up in the morning, I find small white stains.

If you didn't see any blisters in or around her mouth, I would not worry about syphilis. But since this is obviously bothering you a lot, go and retest for every std.  If they come back negative for the 2nd time, then trust that you do not have an std.

Regarding my Syphilis test at 9 days, is that a conclusive test or do I need to retest?

You need to see a doctor.  The symptoms you are describing are not cause by an std.  If you are concerned with HIV, then you need to get tested and go from there.  There is a great forum dedicated to HIV as well.

The discomfort I'm feeling in my abdomen and apparent chronic fungal infections is what has me concerned at this point.
