STD first appearing 15 months later?

I last had sex outside on my relationship probably 15 months or more ago. I have never had any symptoms of an STD; no painful urination, no discharges, nothing. Then three weeks ago I developed a dull ache in my left testicle and lower abdomen. I haven't had much discomfort in the last five days, but that's probably just the large amounts of Advil I've been taking. I suspect I have epididyitis. Can it possibly be caused by an STD? Even now I have no painful urination, no discharges, no increase in frequency.

The woman I strayed with was 38 at the time and I was 42. I want to get checked out but am terrified of what I'll be told.

Oh, one more thing. I had a standard physical with bloodwork about 12 months ago. My white blood cell count was normal, which I believe means I had no infections going on. Does that mean I was clean?

Hi was it unprotected vaginal sex? with no sympotms like a white puss penis discharge. burning while urination or genital sores developing about 2 weeks later is a strong sign you did not get any std but testing would still be advised since you have a long term partner. also if you did get anything like gono or chlamydia it would have cleard itself in a few months by the bodies natural immune system.
