Syphillis test help- Urgent :-(

Yesterday I went to a Pathology lab & requested for a Syphillis test.
They Suggested that I go for RPR/VDRL.

I want to know that at 50 days(7 weeks & 1 day) post exposure, is this the right test to get?

Moreover my result was Non Reactive, do i need to repeat this test anytime later?

Plz guide about my status & also what I should do in coming months, to get to know my status for syphillis!

Thanks
