NGU 5 TIMES???

Hello

I have been in a monogamous relationship for a year. Me and my gf never cheated on each other, but I have a problem.

I have had NGU four times and I went to a clinic to get treated each time. Each time I went, a nurse there said that I am not getting the NGU from my girlfriend because the NGU I had was not sexually transmitted. My GF and I do have unprotected sex, oral, and vaginal, I would get it. I don't get it, if I'm not getting it from her, then how am I getting it? Is it from the oral sex? Is something else wrong with me?

Let me please add that in all seriousness, we have had unprotected sex almost 100 times.
One nurse said I could have a urinary track infection, or a small chance of a prostate problem.
I have no insurance and can't afford anywhere besides the free clinic.

I need any NGU expert to please help me, I'm tired of getting this, but me and my GF don't want to spend the rest of our lives using condoms.

Thank you!!!

I agree with AJ on this one. it seems like the best answer for the situation. The mouth is a very very hostile place. Due to normal bacteria and saliva, so it is possible that you are getting it from oral sex and your GF just has a bacteria that is causing the infection.
NGU is an STD but it is not a specific STD like gonorrhea. So like I said they call it an STD because that is how you get it, it's probably just bacteria that is common to her mouth.

I'd wonder if your gf has some bacteria in her mouth that is getting into your urethra via oral sex, or if you do indeed need a prostate exam.

You could also be getting it from your gf.  There are dozens of bacteria that can cause NGU, and having your gf get treated won't hurt anything.  There is no way to tell with simple lab tests if the bacteria is a sexually transmitted kind or not.  http://www.ashastd.org/learn/learn_ngu.cfm

Call your local health dept and ask what services and programs they offer for those who don't have insurance.  They offer something, I'm sure.
