Please help

I am really hoping I can get some clarification on here with a problem I have been having. I had oral and vaginal sex with a csw on roughly 7 weeks ago. I have had extreme anxiety ever since. It was protected. I was soft when she applied the condom with her mouth but after a bit of oral we had vaginal sex, there was a but more oral in between with one more go at vaginal to completion. It was probably a few minutes and after she takes the condom off and gives me a paper towel with what I am guessing is some sterile spray. I did not get to inspect the condom but as far as I know it didn't break. Immediately after I become incredibly anxious, admittedly during the entire act I was anxious. I would check my penis constantly. On day 4 I felt a tingle in my penis. That of course made my anxiety worse. On day 14 I did a clamydia and gonnrhea test with a mail in urine test. It was pee from about mid day and I didn't wait an hour before doing it. It was negative for both but due to not waiting I don't know about the results. Fast forward another 2 weeks and I'm going crazy. Penis pain is worse and balls are sore. Urge to urinate a lot but not all the time. I was sure I got something. I was prescribed one week doxycycline online and while taking I felt better after 2 days. After the 7th day I took my last pill and started inspecting again. 1 full day after stopping my penis is super achy and the urge to pee only got worse. Here I am today about a week and a half after doxy and my penis is sore and I have bladder pain and urge to pee every 5 minutes. My feet have been tingling too which has been off and on but worse now. No discharge to note. My main worry is my other partner who I have unprotected sex with. Is it possible I gave it to them and now have it again? Whatever if was? Any advice would be very helpful.

You used a condom, so the chances of you having anything that would cause your symptoms are very, very slim.

Have you actually seen a doctor? You need to. You might have a urinary tract infection totally unrelated to this event.

Condoms break catastrophically - you wouldn't have to check it all the time and you wouldn't miss it. They don't do microscopic tears like a lot of people think. That's an old myth that won't go away.

How long had it been since you had urinated before your test?

Does your other partner give you oral sex? There are other infections that can cause urethritis from bacteria that live in the mouth - normal bacteria, things like strep throat, respiratory viruses like the cold or covid, etc.

How is your water intake? Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, and avoid alcohol and caffeine.

Go see a doctor. Ask for a urine culture and a test to look for white blood cells in your urine. They might want to do the gonorrhea and chlamydia tests again, and that's fine, but since you were recently on the doxy, you might get a false negative.

I wanted to add that there is no pain with urination at all. Just an all the time thing. It might have been 20 or so minutes between the last time I urinated before the test. I have not received any oral of any kind since. My alcohol consumption was way up but I am trying to stop and see if that helps any. My pee is not cloudy and I have taken maybe 2 packs worth of those azo uti straps over the last 40 days and all have been negative for leukocytes.

Just curious if I were tested again for clamydia and gonnorhea and I got a negative from the doxy, why would I have all thse symptoms?
The doxy can mask the bacteria, or kill off enough of it, giving you a false negative.

Since you used a condom, I really doubt it's either gonorrhea or chlamydia.

The azo strips being negative also lends itself to this not being an infection, but maybe dehydration or something.

Give it the weekend with you increasing your water intake, decreasing alcohol - and really decrease it, and see how you feel after.

Thank you very much. I'll follow up after.
Oh I should add that in the meantime, if you get a fever, any swelling, nausea or vomiting, go to an urgent care or get into your doctor promptly.

If you get any burning with urination, sharp pain or see any blood, it might be kidney stones or something. That's another reason to really decrease the alcohol.

Ok thank you. Nothing like that so far. If not any of those things, is there anything else that comes to mind? I've been checking fever everyday and all good there. Would a follow up clamydia and gonnorhea mail in test be a good idea in a few weeks? Any other std that could cause this? It's like the middle of the penis mostly, after peeing sometimes I can feel the pee stuck in the urethra.
I think follow up testing in a few weeks would be for your peace of mind.

I think you really need to see a doctor. It sounds like you might have urethritis, which is an infection in your urethra, but it can be caused by many different things and not always an STD.

See how you are after the weekend of increasing your water intake. If you aren't better, then you'll definitely need to see a doctor. I don't know if you are trying to hide it from insurance because of your partner/spouse, or something, but if it doesn't improve, I really doubt it's an STD, and something that needs to be checked out.
I upped my water and have been feeling a lot better. Still not convinced I don't have anything but I'll test again to make sure. If problem comes back I'll go to the doctor. Thanks for your help.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Let us know if you decide to test and what the results are. :)
I was feeling alright for a couple days and out of nowhere my right testicle has shooting pain. It started randomly yesterday and has been there all day today. It comes and goes depending on what I am doing. Sitting is alright but walking around makes it worse. It is super sensitive to the touch. Could it be epididymitis? Wouldn't that also mean clamydia most likely? I am not sure what to do. Also is syphilis or hiv a concern? I will add I have been drinking. Not going to tonight to see if it helps any
See your doctor. Seriously, stop drinking. For like several days in a row.

I would be very surprised if it's chlamydia. You've tested negative and you used a condom. HIV wouldn't give you these symptoms and you used a condom. Syphilis wouldn't give you these symptoms, either.

If you need to test for everything to put this all behind you, then just test.

But see your doctor, and stop drinking.
OK I am going to test full panel and just see what it says. I will also do my best to stop drinking. I will update on it all. One last thing. I unfortunately stumbled on something about some local amps using "washed" condoms. Basically used already. I didn't see or hear any condom open and actually was one of the reasons I worried so much. As crazy as that idea sounds, if it is true, what extra chances to contract something?
No one uses washed condoms. They are almost impossible to put back on.

You've used condoms, right? You know how they roll down? They are designed that way for a reason. If they weren't rolled, it would be like trying to put a balloon, sort of, on your penis.

Get a condom, unroll it, and try to put it on.

That's your anxiety talking.

How much are you drinking? Is it a problem? Maybe you're young and it seems normal to you, but if it's harming your body, it's not "normal". I'm not judging you, not for anything, just trying to help.

If you don't stop drinking entirely, at least alternate your drinks with water - have a drink, then a full glass/bottle of water. When you aren't drinking, make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

Go easy on your body this weekend, and hang in there. :)

Yes I've used them and have to admit I have never tried to do anything with one after lol. Could you re roll it though? Not perfectly of course but enough? It is probably the anxiety. It's getting the best of me.

Yes the drinking is a problem. About half a fifth a night, 100 proof. I am trying to quit all together. Tonight is night number 2 so that counts for something. No judgment taken, I appreciate all the help.

Will update with results!
Try re-rolling a condom. I will wait for your results on that. Unroll it, put it on, take it off, and then try to re-roll it. Let me know how that goes. :)

Please, get help for the drinking. Drinking that much and quitting on your own will be very hard. Counseling, AA, whatever it takes.

There's a real possibility that your symptoms are being caused by alcohol, or at least it's making them worse.

I could have sworn I replied back again. I did full panel std test and it all came back negative. Was at the 2 week mark off the doxy so will test again for clamydia/gonorrhea after I wait awhile. If that is negative I hope to truly just move on with my life. Also working on the alcohol intake. Thanks again for all your help.
Glad to hear it. :)
