Possible Chlamydia

I have a burning sensation when I start urinating for the last 36 hours.   I have no discharge.  I have been in a monogomous gay relationship for 4 months and was tested for HIV (negative) prior to having unprotected sex with my current partner.  I do not believe he has had other partners in the last 4 months.  Is it possible to have contracted something like Chlamydia that was dormant in him for over 4 months?  I do not have any other symptoms as of now.  Could it be a UTI infection?  I have only had unprotected sex with one other person in the last year

If neither of you were tested for stds prior to the started of your relationship, then its possible that he had this before you, if it is chlamydia.

You really need to get tested.  You can go to an std clinic, planned parenthood, or your own doctor for this.
