Possible hemorrhoids from bad anal play?

Hi,

This is very uncomfortable for me to ask, but I'm worried sick.
Last Friday my girlfriend finally convinced me to try anal masturbation (I'm a male).
I didn't really want to, but we did it anyway. The thing is, since I wasn't getting any satisfaction,
it went on for a while... and 15 minutes later, my anus was hurting a bit. But it went away after that,
and I didn't feel any pain afterwards.

On Monday (2 days later) I came home with I thought was a serious need for a bowel movement.
But it wasn't, it was something like a blood clot just hanging from the very anal opening.
I quickly did some research, and I think it's a prolapsed hemorrhoid, since I can push it back in,
and it will stay in, at least until another bowel movement.

It doesn't hurt, but it's hugely discomforting, since I'm constantly worried about it popping out.

Could this really be only hemorrhoids and not another serious complication?
If they are, are they likely to go away with simple care and baths?
If so, how long?

I'm very shy and I really don't want to comment about this with my girlfriend.

Thank you in advance.
PM.

Hi, thanks for your answer though. I chose this particular spot to post this question since one of the topics is Rectan Infection... and that just might be the case.

Any other thoughts, I would truly appreciate them.
Thanks.
