Question on STDs and HIV

Hi, i am just curious to know. I was bathing with a pool of water, while i was bathing, i noticed a green substance at the floor of the pool that contains the water. A few days later my friend told me that was algae. At the point of time when i was bathing, i used the water to wash my penis and the inside of of penis...i know this is a stupid question but will i get contact with any stds just by this action.

When you take a swim in the ocean (where there is high concentration of algae), how come one doesn't freak out about STDs?

Also not much water, (probably zero) entered your urethra.

STDs are sexually transmitted.
