Red Bump

I am pretty sure i have HPV (I dont think a test for males exists) . My ex girlfriend had it, and i do have several white bumps on the shaft of my penis. However we have been seperated for some time. The hpv is near the top of my penis, and are sort of white in color. However at the bottom near where the hair grows there is a small red spot, the spot is larger than the other hpv aswell. its not very large, and its alone. I have had warts that low from HPV, but its mainly the color difference that alarms me. the bump does not really hurt or itch or anything. it has been there for a couple days - possibly more though, and it does look like it is fading away slowly. It is not an open sore, and it hasnt scabbed up or anything. i think what bothers me is the sheer number of possible diagnosis i am faced with. ( i do not have readily available health care or anything like that.) i am looking into free/cheap clinics but am busy with work, so it may be some time before i can get in to a professional.

I must confess i have not been able to find out very much about HPV. i do not know if it can have multiple colors or anything like that. It could also be an ingrown hair or an infected poor or something not worth mentioning.

anyway thank you for your time.

Planned Parenthoods may take a few hours to get in and out of, but it's a great opportunity to get checked out for a good price.

The bump sounds like a swollen folicle.  If there is a hair growing out of it, that's a sure sign, if not - the hair could be ingrown and you wont be able to see it.  Could be a syst is all.  Just watch it, and for the other stuff, get it treated asap.

Yes, warts can be different in appearance.  This could be a wart, or it could be something else - but you already know that.

If you are in the US, you might try Planned Parenthood near you.  Many of them have Saturday hours.
