Risks of Unprotected Oral Sex?

Hello, I (just a few hours ago) received unprotected Oral Sex from a friend (I'm a male, she's a female) and I know it's WAY too early for symptoms to show, I know that. But I am such a hypochondriac. She did not appear to show any sores of the mouth. I know that STDs are somewhat of a "low-risk" factor from receiving oral than actual unprotected sexual penetration. But yet STDs can contract via ORAL.

My question is what can I get, and how long should I wait " IF " I were to contract an STD via oral sex, for symptoms to appear?

Please answer this question. JUST to put my mind at ease. I ejaculated in a shirt, not in her mouth. (sorry if this is too graphic)

Thank you.

if you haven't had any symptoms within the next 2 weeks, odds are you didn't contract anything.

we recommend protected sexual contact because it works!  Protect yourself and save yourself worry by only having protected oral sex, both giving and receiving, in the future :)

ejaculation has really nothing to do with std risk either. it's the sex act itself that is the risk.

the only connection to your encounter was the breathing and kissing part of it :)

So, this has nothing to do with my encounter then?
I would think it'd affect me faster with a weak immune system.

when you are kissing someone, or even just breathing within 3 feet of them, cold and flu germs are easily transmitted. odds are this is just a viral upper respiratory infection. A good deal of the folks around you are running around with runny noses, sore throats and coughs!!

Hello Grace, a follow up to my post. I didn't mention that I had a bad cold the past week. Two days after my oral sexual encounter, I started coming down with a high fever. Went to the doctors and tested for mono and Strep. Came back negative. But lymph nodes were swollen as well as my tonsills. Are these someway related to my encounter? Or is two days too soon. I haven't had any std related symptoms such as burning sensations or discharge. Just curious.

it's so low risk we don't recommend any testing unless you get symptoms.
