Can I use clarithromycin to treat gonorrhoea?

I found out that I have gonorrhoea. I have had it for about two months already. It's in my rectum and my throat.
I know that ciaftriaxone is the recommended treatment, however I am unable to get it.
The medication available to me is clarithromycin (klacid).
Will this be effective in curing the gonorrhoea?
What dosage should I take?
Please help!

We are not doctors. Please do not self medicate. Do see a doctor instead.
