STD Chance & Testing

Dear Forum Moderators,

Please enlighten me, this would be helpful to others also.

1. If the sex encounter is protected whether any chance for STI???? How come this??
2. How long will one wait for STI test??whether 6 weeks is enough to know all possible STIs??
3. Normally what all STIs are common??
4. Whether STIs can be detected from our physical discomfort???( paining while urinate, penis enlarging......etc..)

Thanks in advance

Do you mean erection, or do you mean your penis is swollen?

You can still contract hpv, hsv and molluscum contagiosum from protected sex. A condom only covers the penis and leaves a lot of genital skin uncovered.

www.ashastd.org has a full list of all the usual std's as well as when you can test for them. You can test for some std's after a week but a few require 6 weeks to 3 -4 monts to wait to be accurate.

Dahlin penis enlarging has nothing to do with a std ;)
