Definitely. But just wondering that what makes you feel my symptoms doesnt really sound like herpes. There are pimples-like thing on my lip even they are pin-like. I put some acyclovir cream on the infected area like three times, and now almost most of them are reddish like with scar. But before coating, they are blister. After three times, now they are scar like. What's goin' on???
Super confusing now on these.
hsv2 orally presents the exact same way as hsv1 does. It won't look any different. Your symptoms don't really sound like herpes so make someone prove it is with a culture when you are seen again if they think it looks like herpes too.
The doctor said it's herpes...on my lip based on the pimples on my lip.Since the pimples are really really small, like a pin mark. He said it doesn't look like this if it is HSV-2. Perhaps I shouldn't use "oral herpes" this term to misunderstand you. He didn't do any test like a swab of the symptoms because I ran to the hospital A&E. The A&E doctor said it's only herpes.
No matter what, tomorrow i will goto medical center to have the full testing. But just wondering that whether it can see any result within a week.
you absolutely did not contract oral herpes from using a blanket and pillow on a plane or a bench!!!
did they do any actual testing for herpes - a swab of the symptoms - or just visually say these are herpes?
I have just seen the doctor in hospital and he said it's just an oral herpes. Possibility is either due to I infected on plane ( i used the blanket and pillow to cover myself for almost 15hrs and slept on the bench at airport) or it might really related to oral sex thing. But he said it's not a HSV-2 type since the pimples are not that similar.
But still, I am very scared and I will see another professional tomorrow carrying all tests.
I do really feel regret this time.
Yes I did a lot of kissing with him and another guys. But I thought that kissing is nothing before (jeez).
So that means if STD-related, it should have some symptoms related to private parts??
I'm still super scared and worried and guess that the best is to seek the medical advice from the doctor and do testing. But for the test, can I get the instant results??
This time I really screwed up...
odds are this isn't std related. going to be seen is the best course of action to get better answers. the "trauma" of performing oral sex as well as a lot of kissing can cause chapped lips and other issues too.
