STD Worry??

Hi Doctors,

I was wondering if you could offer some guidance and advice regarding my situation. About 6 weeks ago at Batchelor party, myself and all the group went to a private strip club and involved in playing a few provocative games – champagne over boobs etc. However, I am concerned that one of these games has exposed me to some risk for STD – one of the strippers sprayed cream on my stomach and penis and licked / sucked it off (10 seconds max) - she had no visible sores / cuts and looked perfectly healthy.

There was no sexual intention on my part, it was just a joke but since this event I have been ill with anxiety because I’m married. I have read your forum and understand that the risks are minimal but I have since been checked for chlamydia and gonorrhoea simply out of worry! My tests were negative last week.

I have had no other side effects to indicate any other STD (syphilis / herpes), I have since read that these can be contracted via my exposure but although chances are in excess of 1 / 10,000. I have also been taking tetracycline for acne problems and since read this is an antibiotic for syphilis etc.

Can you please advise your professional opinion.

I hope your right, google has caused major anxiety on my part with particular focus on sypilllis. This was just a batchelor party joke with no sexual intention on my part. Im married and unsure what to say or do. Should i pay for further private STD test or are my chances so low its not worth it? Really sorry to question over this and i will respect your professional opinion?
