STDS on surfaces or from clothing?

I recently came back from vegas, and I'm concerned about an experience I had. I went into a bar that has you wear a company-owned coat because it's so cold inside. These coats are communal. I didn't see them sanitize the coats, but I was wearing a short dress and sat down in the coat. If someone else used the coat before me had a disease/rash/herpes/infection, could I have gotten the virus if my back side touched the coat when I sat down? I was wearing underwear, but the dress was shorter. how about from random seats? I just want to make sure there's no concern? Thank you, I appreciate it!

I know that you can catch scabies from wearing other peoples garments that I know for sure! So my advice is I wouldn't wear anyones clothes I don't care if it is a company garment.
