Seeking Answers

5 months ago i had unprotected sex with a women. She said she had just been tested and was clean. About 4 days after i had the constant urge to urinate. I thought it was a UTI and went to the clinic. The Doc immediately dismissed the possibility of a UTI and suggested i get some STI tests. 2 weeks later i went to go get tested. All test came back negative. I did not get a herpes test because the doc did not think it was necessary. Since then i have been extremely paranoid about having herpes. I have had no obvious symptoms of herpes, but do feel some discomfort down there from time to time. Friends have told me i am just a hypochondriac and i need to relax. I have noticed that some times my penis develops many tiny cracks on the head, but they only stay for a few hour then r gone. This is usually when my penis head also feel slightly irritated as well. I figure i did contract herpes 5 months ago i would have some more obvious physical signs by now. If anyone can offer me some information or insight into my experiences please post a comment. Thank You.

I'd be inclined to say its anxiety and not an std.  If you can't let go of the thought that its an std, you need to get help for the anxiety.

If you get this anxious every time you have sex, perhaps you shouldn't have sex with people who's test results you've not seen on paper.

Nothing to worry about you sound totally focused on your genitals and would have notivced a herpes outbreak by five months the window period is similar to HIV so 90 days after you were clear in all likelihood.  It is easy enough to find out if you cannot let it rest......go get a blood test usually can be found for free at a public health clinic in your city.  The only thing I would caution is you might already have HSV1 over 50% of the population does and it is asymptomatic oftentimes meaning there are no symptoms.  Once you know where you stand you can take appropriate precautions.  Herpes not a huge medical problem a minor inconvenience for some and for many nothing to even think about.  Good luck all the best.

You have asked this already and I have answered you. What else are you looking for? Tiny cracks has nothing to do with an STD. If you have more questions maybe you should go see a Dr.
