Small lump on labia minora, pretty worried

I'm 16 and no longer a virgin (Yes. I understand if you have a problem with this, I do too, I'm not too proud of not-being a virgin at this age)

Anyways, I've just recently found a small lump on my labia minora, and it's been 2 months since I had sex (with a person who had lost his virginity to another girl)
I'm slightly worried that this may be an STD, and I've looked on several websites but I'm still a little confused on what to think.
It's a small pea-size bump, and hurts at times when touched.
Is it an STD or am I just freaking out?

Or it can go away on its own.  Please, do go to the doctor to get a proper diagnosis.  But bumps do not necessarily mean std.  Yes, it can get worse but don't let that get to you because like I said, it could go away on its own too.  Since it cause you pain, you really should see what it is about.

To love_my_baby_girl...please don't scare people by saying it can get worse.  Everything has the potential to get worse.  But when someone as young as her is already scared, those words could cause a lot of anxiety when it could possibly not be as bad a those words made it sound.
