Std through humping

Hello Medhelp,
Is there a risk of getting an std through humping while underwear worn? We basically rubbed on each other while both of our underwear were very wet and I am a bit concerned if some std can be transmitted this way.

Thanks in advance for the answer

Hey, this is a NO RISK encounter with no risk for any and all STI.

Even without the underwear it would be low risk but as STI can not pass through underwear  this was entirely risk free

No testing needed.

Thanks for your quick answer
I am just curious why this doesn’t transmit, Could you please explain how this is different from penetration? I mean why one transmit and the other not?
Thanks in advance
Loads and loads of factors. I wont go into big detail but here are snippets:

- The bugs that cause STIs are fragile. Their living spaces needs to be perfect (temperature etc) or they dont survive. Some are more hardy than others.
- Living area - the bugs often live deeper in the vagina so to get something you need to be where they are.
- Catching is not guaranteed even if you do have penetrative sex with her.
- As Dadz said, the underwear creates a barrier for "on the skin" STIs such as herpes and syphilis.

P.S. I forgot to mention that she was on her last period days but no blood was present as far as I noticed. Thanks
