Syphilis

I tested positive for Syphilis (titer 1:256) 3 months ago and received treatment. I just tested again this week. Still positive but with titer 1:4. Clinician said this is progress. Please confirm?  Thank you!

Yes, that's a great thing. When looking for treatment success, you need to have a fourfold decrease in your titer, which would be 1:64. Since you went down more, it's really good.

Some people will always test positive, others just take time to not have any titer at all. You may drop down to a 1:1, or test negative completely. Congrats on a successful treatment. :)
