Hi! Congrats! This forum helps a lot of people like me!

I would like to know about rimming and syphilis. I'm a guy and gave rimjob to another male. I did not see any strange on his anus, and there was a lot of saliva at the time. To transmission occur, need to have a signal from syphilis around his anus? I just used my tongue...and not inside, just around....Is it possible just touch my tongue on his anus and get some std?Do you think it was a high risk that need test?

It is possible, but a lot less likely than if you had actually given him oral sex by sucking on his penis.

Also, if he didn't have a sore, you can't get it.

I wouldn't worry about testing. It's really low risk.

Is that true saliva can help in this case, like hiv for example?

Is it common only tongue contact results in transmission? Needs to have an injury tongue to allow it?

I got it about sucking his penis because all the mouth is envolved and its easyer for syphilis entry in the body. Is it right?

Yes to the sucking part, and no to the others.

With the sucking part, there's just more of the mouth available for the infection to enter. Will rimming, less of your mouth is involved, and less of their body is involved.

Syphilis is uncommon in most developed countries, too. I just really wouldn't worry too much about this.
