Waiting on wife’s results for pap/hpv

In the last few months I have had an extramarital affair with my ex. This has included 1 time 69 position, no protection. 1 time 69 position no protection and I finished anal. 2 times vaginal no protection. My ex has had the gardasil shot and tells me she is adamant about anyone she’s been with (besides me) wearing protection. She also says she had a test in the last 2 months that was all clear. I don’t know how many partners she’s had  recently though.

My wife has also had the gardasil shot, should I be worried about her hpv test coming back positive? I don’t know if the ob did any other tests but should I be concerned about there being any of those either? I have no symptoms that I have noticed.

The gardasil shot only protects against 9 of the most common strains of genital HPV. There are dozens.

Your ex's HPV test being negative just means she doesn't have active HPV at the time of the test. It doesn't mean she doesn't have it.

The activities you are doing are low risk, though.

Condoms offer significant protection against HPV, but not total protection. There is a chance, but not a high one.
