Stupid

I had unprotected sex January 8 with a 36 year old stranger. I had a condom but she said she was allergic to latex so I went along with  unprotected sex. The sex lasted about 5 minutes and I smartened up and questioned her about her past.  She said that I shouldn't worry and that she had a negative test for both HIV and hep 3 months ago. I am worried about the common STD and on January 10 I went to a walk in clinic. I did not do any test but the doctor did give me two prescriptions. One was a 4 pill dose that I took all on day one, the second was deoxycycline that I am taking twice a day for 10 days.

I am married and trying to protect my wife who does not know

My questions are:

How long should I wait to have sex?

I have noticed a little burning but not when I urinate. I have also experienced a little jock itch in between the creases of my legs. Could this be associated with an STD?

When should I get retested so that I can get on with my life and learn from this horrible lesson.

I have had no discharge and just a little burning which feels like a tad bit of icy hot on me but not while urinating. Could this be a symptom of an STD?

I am a bit of a hypochondriac and my mind is a powerful weapon against myself,  what should I be worried about and what should I do next?  How long does it take for the medicine to work?  Can I give this to my wife through oral sex?  We do not use condoms and she would know something is up if I asked to use one.  Please help ease my mind

Thanks Vance. I did not get treated for gonorrhea but I would have had the symptoms by now. Thanks for your time

1. How long should you wait? That is really up to you. That medication for probably for gonorrhea and chlamydia and the recommend time is 1 week after medication is finished. But if you want other tests then syphilis-6 weeks, HIV-3 months, Herpes-3-4 months. Just make sure to use condoms.

2. Probably not

3. Gave some testing times above and test for gonorrhea and chlamydia 2-3 weeks after medication is finished

4. No you can not give your wife anything from giving her oral sex from your unprotected sex exposure. Medication takes about 1 week to fully work. I can't tell you what to do about your wife and sex.
