I'm not sure why you felt that name calling was appropriate? that is meaning to be rude - plain and simple. There is only so much we can help you with on the forum - we discuss this in our read before posting post on the forum.
Really, any number of things can cause the symptoms you are having. we could guess until the proverbial cows come home about what is going on - you need to be seen and get a proper work up done. once you've been seen and had some basic testing done, we can better help educate you with what the doctor thinks is going on.
can syphilis be cured? yes it can be. Odds are you have something other than syphilis going on though.
So if anyone who is not being a ***** gives a ****, fyi I have a doctors appointment for the weekend when I'm not at work, but i still have questions so you'll have to forgive me. I know no one is asking about my symptoms but if anyone reading this has them it might help you. first I'm more sure it's syphilis after looking into it, I have lost around 50 pounds over the past few months without dieting and a few days ago I noticed when I comb my fingers through my hair a lot of strands come out over and over. weight loss and hair loss are symptoms. I know nothing is certain until I'm tested but I still have questions. first is it true its curable? how many months does it take to do permanent damage? also it can be contracted in combination with hiv is there any symptoms that can be determined by the combination or are they the same symptoms with or without it. I don't mean to be rude I'm just asking someone to listen to me and take me seriously, I'm not looking for a crystal ball, just someone willing to answer some questions instead of telling me to do what I said I would in the first sentence of my request. if there is anyone willing to help it would be so appreciated, no one can make me feel lower than I already do now so its really pointless to try
I plan to, I mentioned in my post I have a doctors appointment but thanks for all the help
this forum is for almost any type of questions but we are limited in what help we can give until you get proper testing done. our crystal balls are usually in the shop ;)
most folks who have genital herpes, don't realize it until either they get obvious enough symptoms to go and be seen and get a proper diagnosis or they get type specific herpes igg blood testing to know their status. It is actually more normal to be infected and not know it than it is to be infected and immediately start having very obvious and painful ob's of the virus.
Make the appointment, get your testing done and go from there :)
ok thank you for replying so is this forum supposed to be about questions after you get tested? I looked up some things online and the description of herpes says its painful and the pics look worse than what I have it says the first breakout is the worst and starts weeks after getting it, mine doesn't hurt and it started months later and is not a large breakout. I saw an article about syphilis and it says it starts with maybe one small round rash it says its curable with pennacillin but idk if thats accurate and it says if its untreated for years I could die. I am not sexually active for more reasons than this me and my boyfriend are taking it slow if I find out for sure I have something I will definately tell him I won't do to anyone what was done to me
the best thing to do is to be seen monday and get a proper work up done. if you haven't covered your std bases with full testing, 3 months after the last time you had sex, certainly do that too so that you are sure of your status before you have a new partner.
