Marble & golfball size boils

I have marble and up to golfball size boils on my bottom and vaginal area. The bigger they get the more painful they are and I cannot get them to break. I went to a clinic, because I currently do not have insurance, and she did not lance them. They keep multiplying and the are very deep and hard. I got the first 2 after having sex with my husband after three years of nothing. I have never had these before but he has. I had an STD scrape but cannot afford blood tests.  She gave me antibiotics but no help after 3 days, still getting more. They start like a pimple and then get painfull and really deep and huge. If i do get one to break, very little puss and blood come out but you can see a very tuff yellowish bag that you can poke with a needle and you can't get anything out. WHAT IS THIS??? PLEASE HELP.

Hi, it is hard from your description to tell what it is for sure. But, it could be Staphylococcus aureus. Since you can't get treatment I would try soaking in a warm bath or hot compresses. Keep doing the compresses and don't open them as this may spread them. Then put on antibacterial ointment to see if that helps. If not, try to get into a clinic. Let me know how it goes.

I've been having those since I was a pre teen. I wasnt sexual active neither. They come and go. Reading this makes me feels better because I didn't know what they were. And seemed as if everytime I went to the dr., they would disappear.

Glad you are ok. Sometimes boils can go away and then sometimes spread as in your case. I hope they are resolved.

Thank you for your input. The baths helped but ended up in Emergency due to high fevers. They lanced all of them and ended up putting me on 2 different antibiotics at same time. Was not STD, thank goodness and I'm doing much better now.  Again, thank you for your reply.

odds are these are not a std.   they don't sound at all like herpes.

continue to follow up with your providers as needed.  antibiotics are just starting to be able to work at the 3 day mark. If you are getting worse, be seen again.
