pcr testing for chlamydia and gonnorhea

Why is pcr teating not more routinely done for detecting chlamydia and gonnorhea since culture is not as sensitive.
I've read that there might be false positive with this method; is that so. Considering that these two stds can cause infertility and other serious problems why are pcr not routinely done over cultures.

Yes, there can be more false positives with a PCR test, as they are so sensitive they might pick up on things that aren't gonorrhea or chlamydia.

A gen-probe test done with urine has sensitivities and specificities in the upper 90% range, which is excellent.
