I've been in monogamous relationship for 10 years now with my wife.
I'm pretty confident that she didn't have other partner since we got together.
I didn't till recently.
Few weeks ago I did a stupid thing - I paid a prostitute for an oral sex.
It was just oral sex and I had a condom on, provided by her.
Five days later, destroyed by guilt and worries, I had tests for bacterial STDs.
The results I got showed small presence of Ureaplasma (UU). Not sure about exact number as I was given only description in the report.
The doctor prescribed Doxycycline for 15 days.
But to make things worse after 12 days of taking the medicine wife and I had unprotected vaginal sex.
It was our anniversary and I couldn't deny her, as she would definitely noticed something is wrong.
I'm a horrible person, I know.
After reading a lot on the matter I got confused so I would like to get some answers, if possible:
1) Since there was a condom, probably of doubtful quality but still, it is not likely that I got Ureaplasma from the prostitute. Would it be even possible to get it this way, oral with condom?
2) Could it be that my wife has Ureaplasma present for years and with no symptoms? That it is just regular vaginal flora in her case? We got two children (6 years and 6 months old). Both are born on time and healthy. And main fear with Ureaplasma is sterility.
3) If I assume that I got Ureaplasma from the prostitute - how likely is that I have transmitted it to my wife after 12 days of taking Doxycycline?
Thanks.
