syphilis testing time and tests

Hey guys quick ? here. I'll keep it brief and to the point. So about 7 months ago I had one act of unprotected vaginal sex with a woman (I am a male) Tested for everything except syphilis and had neg HIV tests at 3 4 and 6 months. Never had a lesion but around 8 weeks after lost weight had a slight fever and wasnt eating (could have been hiv fear and or anxiety) had jock itch yeast infection around 5 months after words. Sometimes slight fever inbetween now (7months from sex) sore throat. Now having burning on my penis shaft underneath. Could be from poison ivy which I have now also but I want to be sure. Heres my questions ....

1) I know symptoms are a bad way to diagnose things but I've read syphilis can look like many other things. Lost the weight slightly, had that rash which I read syphilis can sometimes look like many other rashes but was told it was yeast or jock itch and had this sore on the corner of my mouth that looked like a cut. Currently 7 months after it feels like someone is burning my penis under my shaft just under the head (sorry for being graphic) does this sound like syphillis?

2) what testing should be done for syphillis? I dont know much about testing for it so if I choose to test I want to take the appropriate approach. Have I waited long enough in regards to a window period? its been 7 months since this unprotected act.

Hi.

Don't worry about being graphic it helps us understand exactly how you are feeling.  It helps because I remember the way you are feeling.  Congratulations on your negative tests.  Try to stay that way ---STD free.

1.  Yeah syphilis could cause you to feel this graphic feeling, but also eating jalapenos or red hot chili peppers causes this, because it says on your hands. .... I had to give up my cultural food.  =(      Poisen Ivy also does those things.   Finally a yeast infection and jock itch cause those feelings.

2.  Its called a VDRL blood test, and window period for syphilis has been meet.
