tested positive for chlamydia

I tested positive for chlamydia on 8/10/22 my last check was in November of 2021 which was 9 months ago through my pap that was done. I recently found out my boyfriend has been cheating on me in February of this year . I had sex with my EX 3 times twice in March and once in April. before I had sex with him I took a antibiotic the ones prescribed for BV Why I did it idk. but I did not have sex with him anymore after that me and my boyfriend has been having sex constantly since the end of April. my question is who did I get chlamydia from?

You got it from your bf, unless you had sex with someone else.

The antibiotics for BV don't cure chlamydia, so even if you haven't slept with him since you took the BV meds, you'll still have chlamydia.

Are they treating you for the chlamydia?

Also - you keep calling him your bf - I hope you mean ex. :)

lol yes ex now he is blocked. We are waiting for his test results to come back. but like I said I did have sex with my other ex in March after I found out my current Ex had been cheating on me in Feb. Im just a wreck right now.
yes I am being treated with Azithromycin 500mg
Its 2 pills
Oh I'm sorry - I got confused with the exes.

If you didn't use condoms with either, the test results should help, unless one has already gotten treatment and didn't tell you. If that's the case, the results should come back negative.

You may never know. The important thing is that you're treated. It's two 500 mg pills? They told you to take them together, correct?

yes I took them together.
Good. That's what matters, really. Don't have sex with anyone until they have been treated.

Good luck!
