Bump on Penis 17 days after HJ

Hey Herpes Community,

I haven't had unprotected sex in years. Unfortunately, I went to a seedy massage parlor exactly 20 days ago now. I only received a hand job and was given a damp towel to clean up with. I didn't think much about it as I understand that this type of thing usually presents no risk.

However...

Symptoms:
-burning sensation on penis shaft 10 days after exposure.
-flu like symptoms 11 days after exposure. These symptoms included what felt like a low grade fever, nausea, sleepless nights, waking up sweating. They lasted about a week.
- aching lower back
-a SMALL pin head sized bump appeared 17 days after exposure.

Does this timetable make any sense for STD transmission?
Does it point to a herpes outbreak?
Am I overthinking this?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi you cant get herpes from a handjob so your symptoms are not herpes or std related.

Dave,

Thanks for the reply. I've noticed no change in my small lesion over the past 4 days. If anything, it's gotten smaller.

Everyone keeps saying that I can't get herpes from this... but here I am, experiencing all the symptoms.

I'm thinking about going to a clinic tomorrow to get it looked at.
