Sharp pain in the head

I have noticed lately that whenever I pleasure myself or I am intimate with my husband I get this sharp shooting pain in the lower right side of my head. It happens when the pleasure builds and I am about to have a orgasm and then out of no where it hits me a like a ton of bricks. It is so painful it has me crying and I am not able to finish. I never had this type of problem before. What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

Please go to a doctor as soon as you can.  Any new and severe headache needs to be checked out regardless of what precipitates the attack.  Hopefully, it will go away, but you HAVE to make sure it's nothing serious. Don't put it off, please!

I think that it's physical tension or mounting pressure that's built up before the pleasure release that could be causing the headaches.
