Vaginal Brusing?

About a week ago after my partner and I had sex I found that one section of the skin outside my vaginal area was swollen and a deep purple, much like brusing, it is just one section where I happen to have extra skin near my labia. It goes down in a stip from the bottom of my vaginal opening to the top of my labia. It is still there and is still very purple and slighly swollen, it does not hurt or itch or burn. I thought that it was just bursing from maybe rubbing the extra skin wrong or maybe the extra skin getting pinched during sex. It has never happened before and I have been sexual active for almost a year. Just wondering what this could be? Any help?

I recommend that she take a pregnancy test, since this sounds like the beginning stages of pregnancy.  The symptoms you noted sound like classic case.
