Chlamydia wont go away?

A month and a half ago I was diagnosed with Chlamydia from a one night stand that happened a month previous ( so nearly 3 months ago) where the condom broke, we quickly stopped when we noticed it was broken. I had the symptoms so I got tested and next thing I know Chlamydia. Got the shot in the arm and 2 weeks of doxy. Finished my 2 weeks had no symptoms. But about 3 weeks after finishing the treatment my testicles started to hurt again. About a week ago i took the 1 gram of zithromax but still had pain. So i went to the docs and had my penis swabbed (ouch) and today got the results back that i STILL have chlamydia..... Anyways doc gave me 1 gram of zithromax to take again and 1 gram of flagyll i believe. I am taking those tomorrow. I have not had sex since i was initially treated a month and a half ago. I have not been on any antibiotics in years until now. What does this mean that my infection wont go away? And is it likely i have contracted herpes from a one night stand without a condom was used for the majority of the time? Im a straight male and i didnt notice any breakouts on her and nor have i had any sort of breakout. My doc told me there is no blood test for herpes as it picks up other stuff which can create false positives. I have a retest in 3 weeks and also an HIV test in 3 weeks...

Have you had sex since this happened? If so, you may have given it to your partner. If they were not treated and you had sex with them again you would also get the infection again.
