Is this normal for a mole?

Bout a 4 days ago I scratched open a mole due to a bad picking habit, and it stopped bleeding after around 3 to 5 minutes. The following two days it was fine but upon yesterday and still today I have noticed while the color and appearance has not changed, the mole is a lot more dry and firmer to the touch. For clarification, I had scratched it in three spots, two on the sides and one near the middle of the wee little thing. I'm just wondering if this is normal for a mole to go dry after scratching it open.

I suffer with this mole picking habit too, so I know your worry. It will most likely be a ‘traumatised mole’. Allow it to heal like you would if it was normal skin (a couple of weeks) and it should be looking much better by then!
