I'm 66 when I was 22 I would drive long distances and fall asleep at the wheel. Then I was driving asleep one time and I hit a house never touching my brakes. I ruptured a heart chamber and spent 6 months in hospital.
DON'T DRIVE IF SLEEPY. Pull over and lock doors and sleep.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

Excessive sleepiness can be due to not getting enough sleep, drug, alcohol, or cigarette use, lack of physical activity, obesity, the use of certain medication, depression, restless legs syndrome, sleep apnea, or narcolepsy.
You need to get it evaluated from a sleep specialist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I know you said that you sleep very well for about 6 to 7 hours a night. To me it kind of sounds like sleep apnea. Have you ever had a sleep study done? If not I would look into it.
